President Tinubu appoints Gbajabiamila as COS, Akume, SGF.

The President, Asuwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has appointed the Speaker, House of Representatives, Rt.Hon.Femi Gbajabiamila as his Chief of Staff.


In the same vein, Tinubu approved the appointment of former Benue State Governor, Senator George Akume, as Secretary to the Government of the Federation ( SGF).


Abiodun Oladunjoye, the director of Information in the Presidency, disclosed this in a statement in Abuja on Friday. 


He said that the president also approved the appointment of Sen. Ibrahim Hassan Hadejia, former Deputy Governor of Jigawa State, as Deputy Chief of Staff.


According to Oladunjoye, a former Governor of Benue State and immediate past Minister of Special Duties, George Akume, had also received the endorsement of the president to be the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF).

The new appointments were pronounced by the President in a meeting with Progressives Governors Forum (PGF), the director of information in the Presidency said.
