" I want to advise him to be courageous enough to take bold steps, he should be courageous enough to arrest recalcitrant government officials who are fond of misbehaving, he should maintain his integrity.

"He should run away from rushing to arrest people and ? should not embark on a personal vendetta.

"He should find ways to solve the problems created by the removal of fuel subsidies by allowing the palliatives to go around the people and not the public servants alone.

"He should not shy away from seeking help from those countries he feels can help the country in security and revamp the economy so that Nigeria can return to prosperity and where it belongs."

The cleric also advised the government to take the issue of job creation seriously, adding that "if you want to reduce crime, including armed robbery, thuggery, kidnapping, and other crime, especially among the youths, you have to employ them, because an idle hand is the devil's workshop."

Popoola while speaking on the Father's Day celebration also advised parents to inculcate good values into their children.

"Family should go back to the value system, fathers should teach their children to go away from crime, they should be a good father to their children, they should be a friend and encourager their children and teach them the way of the Lord."

Speaking on the N25 million empowerment given as empowerment to 82 people in the Church by Oluwole Foundation, the cleric called on the beneficiaries to make use of the materials to lift themselves out of poverty.
