APC chieftain writes Tinubu, cites roads in kwara..

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in kwara state,Chief Stephen Wole Oke, has urged the  incoming administration of Sen.Ahmed Bola Tinubu to make construction of road one of its priorities,especially in Kwara State, to ensure socio-economic development of the state and the country at large.


Chief Oke,a former member, Kwara State House of Assembly in the Second Republic, gave the advice on Thursday while speaking with our Correspondent in Ilorin, on his memo to the incoming President, 


Chief  Oke,the Jagunmolu of Shao in Kwara State listed the roads requiring the attention of federal government in the state to include Kosubosu- Kaiama- Bode Saadu highway, Bacita- Shonga- Lafiagi highway, the Eiyenkorin- Afon - Offa- Odo Otin highway and Okuta- Bukuro road,which connects kwara state with  Benin Republic.

He described the roads mentioned as very strategic to the overall development of the agrarian state with a call on the incoming President to ensure their  completion before the end of his first term of four years.


He said “ Work should resume on the Ogbomosho/Ilorin/Jebba/Ogbomosho- Ilorin dual carriageway, at the earliest time possible,as it would be an eternal monument of his administration.


Our correspondent reports that Sen. Ahmed Bola Tinubu will be sworn in as the president of Nigeria on May 29,2923
