All the 15 members of the Forum of Ward Party Secretaries of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ijumu local government area of Kogi state, have endorsed the governorship aspiration of Senator Dino Melaye.
The secretaries, who took the decision during their meeting in Iyara on Monday, also promised to work for his emergence as PDP candidate in the forthcoming governorship primary election.
The forum chairman, Hon.Yodson Dayo, commended the party scribes for their commitment to PDP and promised to join hands with all other stakeholders in the party to make the dream a reality.
The forum thanked the Lokoja LGA chapter of PDP for the solidarity rally held in support of Senator Melaye.

The secretary of the Forum, Akinlabi Tope, appealed to all leaders of the party beyond Kogi West district to lend their support to Melaye in the forthcoming primary and present him as the party flag bearer.
“We plead with those who are spreading false information against our God-chosen Senator Dino Melaye to desist because it will not do any good to the party,” he said.
